adios 2014

Let’s face it, I’m not a great blogger.  There, I said it.  Phew that feels better!  Since 2014 was no exception, I thought it seemed appropriate to do a little round up of some of my favorite images from  2014.  See you in 2016!  I kid (maybe).

(If you are a client and you don’t see a photo from your session, rest assured that I loved your session too and I certainly don’t hate you.  One of my sweet dear lovely children got their hands on the plug to one of my back up hard drives and, unfortunately, I won’t be able to access them for a few days until my new plug arrives.  If I’m feeling ambitious, I may come back and add them into the post once I can get my hands on them).

a beach weekend / tybee island, ga

In case you were wondering, Charlie was actually there with us also.  Unfortunately, he was either with his daddy or napping every time I brought my camera out.  He seems hurt that he didn’t make it into any of the other photos, don’t you think? And then the park rangers showed up and announced that everyone was having too much fun and it was time to go home.  They seemed like the type you don’t want to mess with, so we decided it was best to do what they said…The end.

one RV, a beach and a whole lot of magic.

Some days you go to the beach for a photo shoot and magic just happens.  This was one of those days.  I could go on about how unbelievable this family is and about how I could literally feel the immense love that they have for one another radiating out of them, but I think I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

baby belle at home.

Meet baby Belle.  First little girl born into a family of all boys.  She really is something special.

On a side note, doing newborn sessions in clients homes is pretty much my new favorite thing.  That is all.

the willard family

I bet you’d never guess these gorgeous kiddos were in full fledged hysterics for the first 30 minutes of our session.  Luckily it was nothing that a magically beautiful warm day on the beach in mid October couldn’t cure!  Perks of living in Charleston I suppose.

But really, how stunning is this family??  I die.
